Show the timer in menu bar

I often forget that I have the timer running. Could you have an option to have the timer showing in the menu bar, so that it is less likely to overlook that it is still running?

This is a good call!
Btw not sure if you saw, but on the desktop app you can actually have the timer pop out and float above all other windows (https://guide.ellieplanner.com/features/tasks/task-timer#floating-timer-for-desktop)
A bit different from it being in the menu bar, but maybe a temporary solution?

Chris I tried this and when I pop it out on macOS it just completely disappears. Not sure if Stage Manager has something to do with that?
Timer in the menu bar is also a bit more compact and tucked away. Some might prefer it that way.

Nienke oh what this definitely sounds like a bug!
Sometimes it also appears in the wrong window if you have multiple monitors. Happy to take a look if you want to try to troubleshoot with me (chris@aloa.co)
But I also would like a menu bar mode as well so will look into this!
