Prevent multiple copies of same daily task

If I don't check off a daily task for the day, it repeats the next day and now I have two of the same task for that day. When I make a repeating task, ideally there would be an option to prevent that.

This should be fixed now, but please let me know if anyone is still facing this!

Note this would be fixed by allowing more complex repeating schedules including "repeat after completion" - which would be great in itself

Bec: That's a really interesting idea. Decades ago I heard about a task scheduler for infrequent adhoc tasks that I always found fascinating but never tried because it was not on a platform I used.
The idea was that some tasks are on a flexible schedule but do eventually need to get done. So maybe every 2-4 days I water the plants, every 30 days I change the furnace filter, every Sunday I want to fill the car with gas... But maybe I get busy and want to push these tasks off, or just don't get around to them.
This scheduler, IIRC, had some sort of visualization or other way of showing "hey, this is a task you've put off for a couple days".

Sean Reifschneider: Yes most of the major to-do apps (Todoist, Things, TickTick etc) let you "repeat after completion", so the next task isn't scheduled until you've completed the current one. However I've always hated how Todoist (for example) show these tasks as "overdue" if you don't do them immediately, whereas almost by definition they're a bit flexible. Since Ellie doesn't show anything as "overdue", this wouldn't be a problem. The idea of visualising how long you've put something off would be pretty cool - and not just for repeating tasks!
