I really need this (my work uses it) and I can't really have an accurate view of my week without it. Do you have plans to add it? That would be a deal breaker for me.

You can now connect your Outlook calendar to be able to view Outlook events in Ellie or use the 2-way sync to add Ellie tasks to Outlook!
This feature is available on both desktop and iOS ✌️ Check out this article (https://guide.ellieplanner.com/features/the-timebox/outlook-calendar-integration) to learn more about how it works!
Thank you to everyone who helped beta test and give feedback, this was a loooong process to get this released but I'm so excited that its finally here :)

Hello everyone and thank you for your patience!
The first version of the integration is almost complete and I'm looking for a few people to help beta test! If you are interested, please comment below or reach out directly to me (chris@aloa.co)
I'll whitelist your account so you can use the integration on your account. I don't personally use Outlook so I reeeeeally need some good detailed feedback if I missed or broke anything here.
This first version includes the following features:
- Ability to link Outlook on both desktop and iOS
- Ability to display outlook events in the timebox
Once this is stable, the next version (which will follow the week after if everything goes well) will include the 2-way syncing that Google has. This will mean Ellie tasks will appear in your Outlook calendar.
To be safe, this portion is being delayed another week until the first round of beta testing.
Again, thank you for your patience here. Its been a LONG journey with this feature :)

This will be a great feature to see. For those that do work in the Microsoft ecosystem, my work around to date has been to use PowerAutomate to sync my outlook calendar items with my google calendar. Our IT team block us doing a proper sync between outlook and google, but PowerAutomate lets me get around this, while also choosing how much or how little info I bring across.

Super excited to give you guys an update that Microsoft has approved my developer account and I can FINALLY begin work on this.
(I'll also be working with a friend on this one to help speed things up, so aiming to get this out before the end of the year 🤞)
Thank you all for your patience!

Chris: Congrats!! And thank you for all your incredible work on fine-tuning and adding features this year. It's amazing to see all that you've accomplished!

Chris: This is fantastic news! Ellie works perfectly for me, but it was missing this one thing that made it difficult to justify for use at work. But this is game-changing, and I will be renewing my subscription once it goes live! Thanks for pursuing this, and fingers crossed for a 2023 release date!

Chris: Was looking at Sunsama, but they are lacking features like analyzing (actual vs planned), brain dump, priorities... So was excited to find Ellie, but all my stuff is through Outlook. So, this would be a big win!

Chris: First of all thanks a lot for your amazing app :) May I ask you on an ETA for the Office 365 calendar integration?
I'm still with Sunsama but would like to switch asap.
Chris
MFRH: ready for beta testers starting tomorrow :)
want to try it?

Chris: Yes that would be awesome!

Update on this:
I’m trying to work on this but blocked by Microsoft who has been stuck “reviewing” my business documents for the last few weeks. Their support takes about 1 week for each response.
The minute this gets unblocked I’ll be able to work on this and have a first version out pretty quickly (within 2 weeks).
On that note, if anybody has any contacts at Microsoft who can help with this please let me know!

Chris: do you know what department at Microsoft is reviewing this? I would love to help speed along this integration.
Chris
No name: Appreciate that!
Not 100% sure but getting emails from Microsoft Partner Center (msftpc@microsoft.com)

Chris: Waiting on this one myself, then ill become a paid member. Without Outlook the app does not really function forme. Excited for this to happen.

Outlook 2-way integration would be a game-changer. My work utilizes it. Ellie is far more intuitive and simple in all the right ways! But having to double update my calendar (or mess with zapier) is just extra friction in my planning process. Thanks for all your work so far! I love Ellie!
