If subtasks could be dragged into days individually, and then as you check them off the time they've taken works towards the total time of the overarching project. That way if you have a project with 15 subtasks that will total 30+ hours of work, it isn't all being reflected on the day you complete the last subtask, but you can track your work throughout the project and where you're at with the subtasks.
