Repetitive tasks timing doesnt work

Jon
I have recurring tasks in the morning such as going to the gym which I would like to repeat at 7am. However for subsequent following repeating days, while they appear on the correct days, all their time gets reset to 12am.

I'm also having the same issue when setting a time for a recurrent task just defaults to 12am and I can't change it. Just hoping to make this one a priority as it's quite useful. Thanks

pyrish: Looking into this now actually!
Would love more info to help me reproduce this, is this happening on iOS or desktop?
Chris
Hey Jon looking into this now (and sorry for the delay!) is this happening with tasks created on iOS or desktop?

Chris: hey Chris this is for desktop. I figured a workaround. If you type the timing into the box it throws a "invalid time" and resets to 12am. However it works if you select from the dropdown

Chris: I have the same issue when adding a note or changing the time of a repeating task.
When I click on "Update all incomplete tasks to match this task", the time gets reset to 12 am and I get the message "Invalid date" in the task popup.
If I just change the date, I can use the workaround given by Jon.
But if I add a note, I have to click on "Stop repeating the task" and set the interval and specific time again.

Chris: Yea, the recurring tasks tends to bug out or lag. When you put something at a specific time, everything gets reset to 12am. When you put a recurring time at a specific day, it'll post it to all the days except the day written. The application seems very promising, I am very excited for the future of Ellie!

Going to be doing a deep dive into recurring task stability next week. Will re-visit this thread^
