Calendar events show even though calendar is toggled off

Hi Chris, I have multiple calendars from multiple accounts synced, but have some Apple calendars (relating to my kids' activities) toggled off so the time box isn't too crowded. However some of their events are still showing up in the iOS app. I've checked they're toggled off on both web and iOS, and also tried deleting and reinstalling the iOS app. My next step was going to be to disconnect and reconnect Apple calendars but first I just wanted to check if there was some other issue eg. should I only be connecting calendars on one platform rather than both?

Hey Bec
Happy to look into this for you!
Could you go to the settings (on iOS) -> Connected calendars -> Manage apple calendars. When you turn off the apple calendars entirely, do the events go away?

Also this is a bit confusing but the Apple calendar integration on desktop and iOS are completely separate (so if you have connected accounts on web, they won't show up on iOS and vice versa). This is due to a privacy limitation from Apple unfortunately. Have a few improvements I need to make to make this more clear/user-friendly.

Thanks Chris - when I turned off Apple Calendars entirely, the events did disappear - and don't seem to have come back when I toggled them back on. That was an easy fix!
Chris
Bec Good to hear!
Will try to make this more clear in the future :)
