I have only one list beside the brain dump, however I cannot switch to the list unless I create a temp list.

Having a hard time reproducing this one on my end. I spun up a test account and added a single list but I'm able to switch to it without any issues
When you say switch, do you mean switch between them like in the screenshot below? or some other way?
